There are four things you might use to match a Bosch M2.7 to a row on this page: its Bosch number, a Fiat OEM number, the car it came from and the fuel it runs on. For the two units listed here, three of those four are no help.

Both are petrol, both are recorded against the same car, and neither has an OEM number in our table. What separates them is the Bosch number on the label, so that is what the rest of this page is about.

Both M2.7 rows point to the Fiat Punto GT 1.4 turbo

The sources we checked record 0261203099 and 0261204159 against the same car: the Fiat Punto GT with the 1.4 turbo petrol engine. Both numbers are confirmed as M2.7 units, so the designation printed on the case does not split them either.

So the car cannot choose the row. A Punto GT 1.4 turbo is consistent with either number, and nothing about the car we have on record narrows two down to one.

Where 0261203099 and 0261204159 part company

Read each number in groups and the split appears early. 0261203099 sits in the 0261 203 range and 0261204159 in the 0261 204 range, so the digit after 0261 20 is a 3 on one and a 4 on the other. The final three digits, 099 and 159, differ too.

Your label may print the number with spaces, as 0261 203 099 or 0261 204 159, where our table runs the digits together. The spacing changes nothing; the digits are what count. Both numbers open with the same six digits, so check the whole number against the case rather than stopping at the start.

Neither row has a Fiat OEM number

The OEM column in our table is blank on both rows. We have not confirmed a Fiat part number for either unit, so we print none, and this page does not offer one in its place.

If your case carries a Fiat number, include it exactly as printed when you get in touch. For matching your unit to this table, though, the Bosch number is the whole lookup: it is the only entry that differs between the two rows, and the only number the table holds for either.

From arrival to final test in our workshop

Each unit is logged on arrival, inspected visually and tested electrically, then taken through diagnostics aimed at the fault you describe. Our own engineers do the component-level work in our UK workshop, under a microscope and with temperature-controlled rework equipment, and nothing is subcontracted.

Once the fault is found, we contact you with the outcome, and no work begins until you authorise it. The failed component is repaired on the unit you sent, which must pass final testing before it comes back to you, and the repair carried out is covered by a 24-month warranty.
