How a Magneti Marelli 4AV or 4CV unit is repaired

The repair itself is made at component level by our own engineers. The specific fault, a dry joint or a failed CAN bus transceiver for instance, is put right rather than the whole unit being exchanged, so your own unit is the one that goes back in the car.

Component work takes place under a microscope, with temperature-controlled rework equipment, in our own workshop and on our own equipment. None of it is sent out to another company.

Final testing has to be passed before a repair is complete, and the unit then returns to you by post. Warranty protection of 24 months applies to the work we did on it. That protection is yours alone and does not pass to a later owner.
